游戏论坛讯/2017年12月18日，City Channel Limited公司公开发布声明，称目前与360全资子公司奇飞国际在双方建立的一个合资公司合作上发生争议。为维护自身权益，City Channel已委托其香港法律代表于今日向奇飞国际发出了律师函，求偿因双方合资公司争议而造成我方损失的约22.5亿元。
注册于香港的City Channel Limited公司（以下简称“City Channel”）于2017年12月18日公开发布以下声明：
- 2014年7月，City Channel与另一家注册在香港的公司QiFei International Development Co. Ltd.（以下简称“奇飞国际”）达成协议，双方成立合资公司。奇飞国际目前是三六零科技股份有限公司所间接拥有的全资子公司；此前奇飞国际则是奇虎360科技股份有限公司的全资子公司。奇虎360是国内互联网行业的领军企业之一，主要业务为网络及手机安全产品、浏览器及应用商店等。
- City Channel和奇飞国际在2014年7月31日发布的公告中宣布，双方将在香港建立一个合资公司，主要目的在中国境内营销、运营及发行包括《火瀑》（Firefall）在内的大型多人同时在线游戏。《火瀑》是一款耗资超过1亿美元的优秀产品。
- 目前City Channel和奇飞国际在此一合资公司的合作上发生争议。由于该项争议，City Channel评估自身遭受了约5亿元人民币的损失。为了维护自身的权益，City Channel已经委托其香港法律代表于今日（2017年12月18日）向奇飞国际发出了律师函，求偿因双方合资公司争议而造成我方损失的约22.5亿元。
- 我方在律师函中提出，奇飞国际需要在12月22日下午四时前向City Channel交付该项补偿金，或提出令我方满意的补偿方案。
- City Channel非常希望此一争议能获得奇飞国际尽速及友好的解决，但如果我方的要求无法在12月22日下午四时前获得进一步解决，我方将采取必要的法律行动，以确保我方的各项权益受到保护，该法律行动将不再另行通知。

In July 2014, we, City Channel Limited (“City Channel”) entered into a joint venture with QiFei International Development Co. Ltd (“QiFei”). QiFei is currently the indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of 360 Technology Inc (三六零科技股份有限公司). Previously, QiFei was a wholly-owned subsidiary of Qihoo 360 Technology Co. Ltd, which is a leading internet company in China providing its users with market leading internet and mobile security products, web browsers and application stores.
Under the joint venture jointly announced by the parties at its launch on or about 31 July 2014, City Channel and QiFei established a joint venture company in Hong Kong for the purpose of marketing, operating and distributing massively multiplayer online games in the PRC, including one called Firefall. Firefall is an AAA multiplayer online game with development budget of over USD100 million.
A dispute has now arisen between City Channel and QiFei. As a consequence, City Channel has suffered losses in the amount of around RMB2.25 billion. With a view to preserving their legal rights and interest, we, through our Hong Kong legal representatives, have written to QiFei on 18 December 2017 (i.e. today) demanding that QiFei compensate City Channel for the losses it has incurred under the joint venture in the amount of RMB2.25billion.
As we have stated in our demand letter to QiFei, QiFei is required to compensate City Channel for the said losses or to come up with a satisfactory proposal to do so by 4pm on 22 December 2017.
While City Channel would very much want to have our dispute with QiFei resolved amicably and quickly, if City Channel’s demand is not met by 4pm on 22 December 2017, City Channel will have no choice but to take further legal actions against QiFei in order to preserve their legal rights and interest without further notice to QiFei.
